RICHMOND & ZETLAND HARRIERS


Not to be outdone his brother Rob was in action with Steve Middleton at the Scunthorpe Half Marathon in which both performed admirably. Rob produced a new pb in an exciting finish which got him 2nd in a sprint finish (69:31, pb). Steve was a very credible 19th and the 5th V40 (77:55). It was also the Kirbymoorside festival of running, with Joe Reeve leading the way in the 4km finishing 2nd overall (14:24) and Shannon Robinson taking the win for the girls and 5th overall. Rhys Robinson was in the 1 mile race with another great run in 8th. Over the undulating 10km route, Leon Reeve was 22nd overall (38:59) and Kimberley Reeve was on fire with a new pb and the 5th lady (2nd V45, 44:19).

Catterick parkrun had Mark Forrest in 5th (19:00), Leon Reeve in 6th (19:14), Ronnie Corbett in 8th (19:46), Paul Simpson in 12th (20:42) and Garry Malton in 24th (22:19). At Northallerton parkrun, Ian Christon was the 1st finisher (18:30), Anthony Jefford was 3rd in a new pb (19:40, pb), Alastair Wilkin was 17th (22:46), Elaine Watters in a big new pb was 38th and the 5th lady (25:37, pb) and Anglea Wilkin in 44th and just outside her pb in 44th (26:35).

Over at Darlington parkrun Ken Harker was 8th (18:48). Pauline Whittaker completed her 50th parkrun at Albert park parkrun finishing in 65th in a new pb (23:47, pb). Jim Wilkin was 2nd (08:36) at Northallerton junior parkrun, Olivia Jackson-Bowers was 3rd and the 1st girl (08:54), Rebecca Wilkin was 8th and the 4th girl (09:16), James Holdsworth was 10th (09:43), Charlotte Jackson-Bowers was 19th (10:26), Kiki Fletcher was 21st (10:31) and Abigail Wilkin was 28th (11:01).
