Tony takes the title

Another week of big performances from Richmond and Zetland Harriers. On Sunday at the multi-terrain 10k at Scorton Feast, Tony Lambert led the field home to take the win (35:23) with the fast finishing Carl Jones also on the podium in third (35:46). Rob Scott was just behind in 4th in 36:20 and Josh Lincoln 9th in 38:43 and a new pb. Lee Davies was 13th in 40:29, Tony Ditchburn a seasons best in 23rd (44:57) and Pauline Whittaker (46th, 51:55). Michelle Sprent had a fantastic run to set a new pb (61st, 55:05) and the top Female Scorton resident by a long way. Nikki Billows had another fine run and was 82nd in 60:28. Sally Harrison had a composed race and was 90th in 63:08.

 On Wednesday at the Triology Super Sprint triathlon, Richmond members were once again the top men's and ladies athletes. In what's becoming an all too familiar result. Scott Wardman again was the 1st male athlete and Holly Flannery the top female. Carl Jones showed that he's still very much in the mix with a fine 3rd and the top V40. Liam Rabjohn continues to improve in this discipline and was an excellent 8th, followed by the ladies winner Holly Flannery in 9th.Harry Robson just got the better of James Greer with both finishing in 17th and 18th, respectively. Ryan Canizo was 63rd, with the extremely unfortunate Ryan Greer in 91st who picked up a puncture during the race, but still showed his Ulster grit and battled his way to the finish.

 New member Steve Sadler was also racing and produced a great performance in 26th at the very tough Burnsall 10 in 1:07:44.
 At Darlington parkrun, Dave Hack was the 1st harrier in 4th overall and a great run with a new pb (17:42), Harry Robson was 6th (17:59) and Mark Flannery 7th (18:07). Luke Hack was 9th (18:21), followed by Ronnie Corbett in 10th (18:37). The 1st lady was Holly Flannery in 23rd (19:23) and a fantastic new pb, Shaun Purkiss was 27th (20:19), with his pacer Nick Mason (28th20:20), Shona Fletcher the 2nd lady (33rd20:55), Lucy Goundry (37th, 4th lady, 21:05), Laura Kirkham (61st22:28), Eliza Hack (95th, 24:02) and Anna Harrison (99th, 24:08). Jane Hack produced a brand new pb in 169th, 27:32 (and bragging rights over the kids this week), Nikki Billows (194th, 28:50), with Sally Harrison just behind (195th, 28:52), Mark Fletcher (257th, 35:22) and Laura Dunphy who was helping Harry round the course on the 1st and 3rd laps with Helen Robson taking over duties for lap 2, which Laura allowed Laura to pick up the pace (260th, 36:54).

 Rob Scott again broke his own parkrun course record at Northallerton to finish 1st (17:33), Lee Davies was 12th (19:47), Dan Holdsworth with a new pb (17th21:01), Andy Everard (23rd21:56), Simon Withers (29th22:35), David Hunt (36th23:19), Joe Withers (100th, 30:02) and Eliza Withers (106th, 30:20). Reece Dalton was 2nd at Fountains Abbey in 17:54, with sister Chloe 42nd (22:38).
