HARDMOORS NATALIE 19/2/18
Hardmoors Natalie
In the main, it was a quiet week for Richmond and Zetland Harriers, however, the lure of parkruns across the country had many of our runners out testing their speed work from closer to home at Catterick, Fountains Abbey, Prudhoe, Darlington and slightly further afield in Birmingham.
Natalie Wood was out on the Hardmoors trails for the 10k, which although advertised as a 10k was and usually is a tad more. It was Natalie's first race outing since the gruelling Keilder marathon in October and it seems the rest didn’t do her any harm with a great finish in 80th out of 116 runners (01:54:40)
At a very windy Catterick parkrun, Carl Jones was 2nd (17:20) followed by Dave Hack in 4th (18:02, Kiska Wilson in 29th and the 3rd lady (23:41), Pauline Whittaker was 41st(24:28), Nicki Buckett was next in 82nd (28:43), Karen Greer in 99th (30:52) and Thomas Greer in 100th 30:56).
Ian Christon was 9th at Canon Hill parkrun in Birmingham (18:19), while Diane Adkins was 84th (30:44) at Prudhoe Riverside parkrun.
At Darlington parkrun Steve Middleton was 4th (17:59) followed by Ken Harker in 8th (18:55). Reece Dalton crossed the line first at an icy Fountains Abbey parkrun (16:16) and Donna Riddler was 15th and the 1st female runner (19:58)
